my son jason an i caught several sea trouts off the pier useing shrimp durring the evening hours when the lights from the pier were aluminating the water. it was fun catching one fish after another it was exhausting but yet alot of fun when fishing with your sons. thanks jay!!!!!

about 2wks ago my boyfriend and i went to copano bridge to go fishing , niether one of us had been there for a while.It was the best fishing we had done in a long time.we got to the bridge at around 4 pm the sun was starting to go down it was a little cloudy,our evening started out catching gaftops lots of them.Towards the late evening the trout started hitting 2 at a time on glow worms it was great! even though alot of them weren't keepers we had an excellent time catching and releasing till about 4 am.we enjoyed it alot...and we will be back for more.

My friend Tomas took me and some other friends camping at Goose Island State Park in Rockport on St. Charles Bay. On our first night there the bait stand was closed so we didn't have any bait and we went on the peir and saw some mullet so I went down and caught one about 6" cut it up and used it for bait all we caught were crabs so we went in and went to sleep.
When we all woke up and went on the peir and didn't catch anything until about 5 or 6 o'clock and my friend caught a black drum about 16" and then a trout about 17" and then I caught another black drum about the same size then he had another still around 16" and that was the last thing we caught that night.
The next morning we woke up and went back to the peir and caught a few more black drum but I caught a 32" one we used live perch.

Well me and my cousin and my brother went to copano bay to fish but the water was a little rough but not too bad. We got there around 4:00 am and got to our favorite bait shop. we used 4 doz live croaker and 1 pint live shrimp. we got to the peir about 4:30 and we diddnt fish on the pier but on the oppisite sidee of the pier on the sand bar. we walked to the end of the sand bar and waded about 500 yards off of the point and fished back twards the point. at around 7:00 am i cought the first keeper sand trout it was about 6 lbs. then my bro cought a 5 lb ray and then a 3 lb spec. my cousin ended up catching 3 keeper specs and 1 keeper sand. The next day we waded goose island at the south end of the bridge. we went ot the second set of stairs and waded about 800 yards out untill it got deep. we found a little slick and i casted into it with a live croaker and i cought a 30lb blacktip shark i had to drag it to shore and stay up there while everyone else fished then my bro casted away from the slick into a oster reef and caught a 9 lb bull red. thats all that was caught that day so we loaded up the dodge and headed home.
