Dry Falls is an awesome place. Especially if you are fascinated by geological history. It's fascinating to try to picture this vast arid area as a magnificent, huge waterfall (way bigger than Niagra Falls they say). Beautiful place to watch the sunset. I was proposed to here in the pagoda near the parking lot of Dry Falls. What a beautiful view to go with a beautiful proposal!!!

I like Dry Falls a lot. The overlook (like a natural balcony)is posilutely perfect. I think everyone should go here. Especially awesome at sunset.

Additional Information
Columbia River Plateau - Throughout the Columbia River Plateau region, you can be as active or sedate as you want at any given moment. If you think of Washington only in terms of the damp forests and cityscapes of Puget Sound, you will be amazed at the sculpted beauty of this high desert land.
Washington State Parks - Washington has 149 state parks located around the state.
