My three children and I spent the afternoon at Saltwater State Park today and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The tide was out quite far, and we were able to observe numerous types of intertidal animals in the tidepools. My kids especially enjoyed the snack bar and digging in the sand right by the picnic areas. Very crowded on weekends and holidays, but less so during the week, especially before school's out.
