We went overnight and had a good time. We hiked around and mainly just hung out at the campsite. Good bathrooms/showers. It was quiet. It's great if you are just looking to hang out and relax. But there is not a lot to offer. No swimming, etc. But it's a great local spot for a get-a-away.

Really enjoyed being so close to Mt St Helens. A very clean park. Excellent place for camping while spending the day elsewhere hiking or something. The campsites are gorgeous.

We all thought this park was pretty lame. Freakin' gopher holes everywhere on the big grassy field. The big toy play area was so-so. The only thing that might redeeem this park is the trail which I didn't get to go on since the kids were so bored with this park within 10 minutes. Probably won't go back because we would much rather go to Lewis & Clark State Park which is not too far away.

The one-mile boardwalk loop at the Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center is a highlight. Great chance to observe wildlife on Silver Lake! You can take the pedestrian tunnel under 504 for a few more miles of hiking through secondary forest on a maze of trails.
