Sun Lakes is the best, most awesome place in the world! I have been going there with my family scince i was born. The Lake is spectacular, but a little dirty, the presentation of it all is amazing, the boats to rent, senes to look at, things to do are all overwhellming. Iam probably this places biggest fan! The new golf course is a dumb idea though EVERYBODY liked the old one much better. Never ever ever ever change this place!

3.5 hours out of Seattle, this place is great for an early fall getaway. We stayed two long weekends in a row in late September and early October. The 9 hole golf was fun, the kids enjoyed the 18 hole put-put golf and there were almost no people around until Saturday night. The fishing, biking, boating, hiking, and my favorite, snake watching, was great. The wind did blow a couple of nights, up to 45 mph. I loved it! I do not recommend tenting due to wind and cool temps some nights.
