As my friend said when we were leaving, "This park has so much atmosphere and ambience!" And I couldn't have said it better myself. From the marsh to the wooded trails, this is a lovely park. Lots of wildlife: herons, crabs, squirrels, black snakes. Just driving up to the entrance takes you past a horse farm! Lots of shady shelters and two or three nice playgrounds.
